mowing lawns
BMWFAN asked:

I am a 16 year old male looking for a job in Mowing lawns, weedeating, for people who can’t get out to do it. I am looking for a company that is here in Indianapolis,IN - 46203 area, has a good pay, and has great customer satisfaction. I have searched the internet, but havn’t found much in my area. If anyone can give me a company, that offers good pay, and mows lawns, weedeaters, etc. Please let me know.

Thanks

PS- I don’t mind doing this on my own, but want a professional profile for doing business, and don’t want to cheat anyone of their money.

Put an ad in the local paper. Or simply create a flier on your computer and print it out and post them around town. But, do no put them on utility poles. That is public property and is punishable by law. Good Luck! If lived close to me, I would hire you in a minute.

  2. put up signs with your name and phone number around your town and just start your own business

  3. I advertised a ‘do anything’ and got 6 months work, once you get going, it’s word of motuh that gets you there! Don’t be late and always do a good job, you won’t have to advertise again!

  4. The three answers above me are excellent, however direct personal contact is the best. If you were to come to my door and ask to cut my grass on a weekly basis or so, I would be able to determine if you were a nice guy, clean cut and all that good stuff. Nothing like the real thing. Good Luck.

  5. List your services on You can call up landscape service places from the yellow pages and find out if they are looking for help and how much they pay.
