Put an ad in the local paper. Or simply create a flier on your computer and print it out and post them around town. But, do no put them on utility poles. That is public property and is punishable by law. Good Luck! If lived close to me, I would hire you in a minute.

I advertised a ‘do anything’ and got 6 months work, once you get going, it’s word of motuh that gets you there! Don’t be late and always do a good job, you won’t have to advertise again!

The three answers above me are excellent, however direct personal contact is the best. If you were to come to my door and ask to cut my grass on a weekly basis or so, I would be able to determine if you were a nice guy, clean cut and all that good stuff. Nothing like the real thing. Good Luck.
